Nepal Education Foundation – Consortium of Colleges, Nepal (NEF-CCN) has been created to establish strategic partnership with reputed national and international universities. LA College, as in the case of XA, has been operating from 1st of August 1997 and has also been ranked consistently amongst the top 10 higher secondary institutions in Nepal.

LA College has now upgraded to LA College of Higher Studies (LACHS) and, in this capacity, is offering 9 different academic programs at the +2 and undergraduate levels.

Besides its academic record, LACHS has the following strengths:

- Location : in Hattiban area, a very fast developing suburb of Lalitpur, twin city of Kathmandu, 1 km from the ring road.

- Land Area : 30 ropanis approx. (164,280 sq. ft. or 15,260.56 sq. m.), part of a 320 ropanis (40 acres) LA Complex, complete with football field, basketball and volleyball courts, two swimming pools etc.

- Built-up Area : 125,000 sq. ft. (11,611.70 sq. m), part of 500,000 sq.ft. (46,446.82 sq.m.) complex of built-up area.

- Faculty & Administrative Strength : 94 faculty members & 51 administrative staff, part of LA family of 425 teaching faculty and 350 administrative staff

- Student Enrollment : 1,744 in the college, part of total LA enrollment of 5,692 students; with total graduates from 10+2 and undergraduate programs number 3,808 out of which more than 50% of +2 graduates from the 10+2 have gone for bachelor studies, mostly in the States, UK and Australia

- Programs Currently Offered : 10+2 Science and Commerce, A Level, Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor in Business Information System (BBIS), Bachelor in Hotel Management (BHM), B. N., B. Sc. Nursing, B. Pharma and B. Sc. MLT.

- Total Value of Assets : NRs. 870 million (approx. US$ 9.66 million, part of a huge complex of US$67 million)
