“Dipawali and Chhath” Greeting Exchange and “Employee of the Second Quarter-2075” Announcement

AITM organized a get together program of its staff and faculties at AITM on the eve of Dipawali and Chhath festivals of 2075 BS. Greetings exchange, entertainment games and announcement of “Employee of the Second Quarter-2075” were the main highlights of the program.

The program began with Dipawali and Chhath-2075 greetings from Mr. Hari Krishna Saiju (Head of Biotechnology Department), Dr. Rabindra Raj Giri (Head of Civil Engineering Department), Mr. Basanta Prasad Joshi (Head of School of Hotel Management) and Mr. Shyam Krishna Maharjan (Head of Plus Two Program). Then the get together program entered to the entertainment/fun phase. Musical chair, mud pot breaking, balloon puncturing and lucky draw events were organized for entertainment/fun of the participants followed by a refreshment break.

After the break, Mr. Basanta Prasad Joshi accompanied by other department heads announced the “Employee of the Second Quarter-2075”. AITM staff and faculty members below the Head of School/Department level are included in the quarterly evaluation system. The evaluation based on seven criteria is carried out in three levels. The first level evaluation is carried out by the immediate supervisor of each school/department. The second level evaluation is carried out by an appointed “Reviewer” in each school/department. The final level evaluation is carried out by a committee comprising of heads of schools/departments and the Executive Director of AITM. Housekeeping staff Ms. Asmita Tamang is selected as the “Employee of the Second Quarter-2075 BS” securing the highest score among all the staff and faculties. School of Hotel Management head Mr. Basanta Prasad Joshi awarded Ms. Astima Tamang with an appreciation certificate and cash prize as the best employ of the second quarter in 2075 BS in the program. Then, the winner, Ms. Tamang, cut “Dipawali Cake” and distributed to all the participants. The program was concluded with music and dances of the participants.
