RCC Practical Works of 7th Semester Students Completed

March 12, 2018

As required by the Purbanchal University (PU) course syllabus for Bachelor in Civil Engineering students, RCC practical works were conducted for B.E. Civil 7th semester students of AITM (Batch-2014). In this regard, cement concrete cube (size: 15cm x 15cm x 15cm) & reinforced cement concrete (RCC) beam (size: 10cm x 10cm x 100cm) specimens were prepared on February 12, 2018 using standard cement and aggregate materials, while the 14th & 28th days tests were conducted on February 26 and March 13, 2018 respectively. The tests were conducted to evaluate compressive strength of cubes and bending behaviors of the beams (three-point bending test) on the specified days using Universal Testing Machine (UTM). The students recorded all the necessary data of the tests, and they are required to submit reports of their RCC practical works to the department.
