Seminar of 8th Semester Students

The final seminar of 8th semester students was conducted by Department of Biotechnology on 3rd and 4th Jan 2018. The seminar carries 1credit in the syllabus of 8th semester of B. Tech Biotechnology. Department invited Dr. Sajan Lal Shyaula, Senior Scientist, Nepal Academy of Science & Technology on 3rd Jan 2018 and Prof. Dr. Megh Raj Banjara, Head of Department of Central Department of Microbiology, Tribhuvan University on 4 Jan 2018 as experts to evaluate the seminars. The seminar topics were related to recently developed technologies in Biotechnology.

On the first day 8 students did their presentations on the topics related to Phyto-chemistry and on the second day remaining 8 students presented on the topics related to microbiology. The topics presented by the students were interesting, informative and impressive. The seminar was conducted by Mr. Rabin Shrestha, DHoD in presence of Mr. Hari Krishna Saiju, HoD of the Department, lecturers Mr. Binod Mishra and Mr. Mahesh Mahajan. Lecturer Mr. Mahesh Maharjan thanked all the students for their presentations.
