Mr. Hari Krishna Saiju, Head, Department of Biotechnology presented an invited lecture on “Essential Oil Bearing Plants of Nepal” at the 4th International Symposium on Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Sciences on 17 March 2018 at the invitation of Symposium Organizing Committee, Kumamoto University, Japan. The symposium was followed by Kick-off Symposium on Program for Building Regional Innovation Ecosystems in Kumamoto University-Useful and Unique Natural Products for Drug Discovery and Development (UProD)-19 March 2018.The theme of symposia is to report, discuss and take actions for effective usage and preservation of natural resources together with outstanding researchers and officers in the World. The symposia was participated by over two hundred participants from Japan, Nepal, India, Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia, Turkey, Iraq, Egypt, Sudan, Italy. He visited Taisho Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd. at Tokyo, Strawberry Farm at Kumamoto and Cultural visit to Kumamoto and Tokyo, Japan. Some of the photos of the program are as below.
