AITM News and Events >> Launching of Personality Development Program for newly enrolled batch of IMI- BHM-2015

AITM School of Hotel Management conducted a “Personality Development Program” on 4th January 2016 for 40 newly enrolled students of IMI-BHM, as part of the co- curricular activities. The program was facilitated by London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), an affiliate partner of Asian Institute of Technology and Management. Different experts and intellectuals were invited from the field of education as resource persons.
The 1st day training was conducted by Mr. Zaffar Naik, who has over 12 years of work experience especially in the field of Management & Professional Corporate Services across Nepal, India and Australia, including 4 years exclusively as a corporate trainer. Mr. Naik spoke about grooming, networking, importance of communication skills, enhancing communication skills, preparing and giving effective presentation, team building, time management, career decisions, assertiveness, learning style & group discussion.

The 2nd day training was conducted by Mr. Joseph B. Niraula, a senior educator, social development worker and a certified NLP master practitioner, who explained the importance of personal development, ways to bring about changes, inspiration, motivation, emotional intelligence, SWOT analysis and goal setting.

The 3rd day training was conducted by Mr. Deep Ram Tandon, a certified trainer from EDI, UK. Mr. Tandon explained about CV making, cover letter, sponsorship letter, paragraph, essay & article writing, general report writing, review and analysis of writing assignment of the students, verbal and non verbal communication skills, face to face conversation/ telephone conversation and public speaking skills, voice, tone etc.


On the last day of the program, Prof. Dr. Sriram Bhagut Mathe, the Chairman of AITM gave 45 minutes inspirational speech to the students on Excellence in Education.
