AITM News and Events >> New Semester Orientation Class for B.E. Civil 2014-Batch Students Conducted

The 8th semester classes for B.E. Civil 2014-Batch students began from 2075/02/06 (Sunday) immediately after their 7th semester board examinations were completed on 2075/02/03 (Thursday). The Civil Engineering Department of AITM has a practice of conducting student orientation class on the first day of a new semester to inform the students on offered courses in the semester and their importance, semester calendar and daily class timetable. In addition to these, a guest lecture on a relevant topic is also conducted to motivate them in study whenever possible.

In this line, an orientation class was conducted for 2014-Batch of students on 2075/02/06 (Sunday). In addition to the activities in an orientation class mentioned earlier, the students were asked to form final semester project groups and report to the department as soon as possible. The students were also informed on elective courses, importance of final semester project work, its time frame and evaluation procedures for the project work through a PowerPoint presentation. The students could get a clear picture of the 8th semester course outline, project work activities and evaluation criteria through the orientation class.
