Research (Collaboration)

 

Asian Institute of Technology and Management (AITM) aims to be a ‘Centre of Academic Excellence’ by blending research into pedagogy. With a long-term goal of strengthening the institute into a well-known research and outreach center, AITM is attracting and retaining research faculty members with proven track record in research and publishing; and having wider international networks. AITM’s current research expertise includes but not limited to climate change, aquatic ecology and biogeochemistry, hydrology and water resources, groundwater, nexus research, water-related disaster risk reduction, water-sanitation-hygiene, geospatial solutions (GIS and remote sensing), biotechnology, and management (business and hospitality).

AITM is demonstrating its research capabilities through involvement in collaborative (sponsored) research projects, publishing peer-reviewed articles in reputed international journals, joining hands with like-minded institutes to host capacity building activities, workshops and seminars, among others.
