Brief work experience: Mr. Basanta Joshi has about 15 years of Industrial experience, working with five star Hotels in Nepal and abroad. He had worked with LSG Sky chefs, Crowne Plaza group, and Radisson corporate Banyan tree Bangkok and Hyatt regency.  He has spent nearly a decade in academic institutions like NATHM, IST, WhiteHouse Edu. Network and AITM. He has authored three books: Fundamentals of Hotel Management, Pan-Joshi Basic cookery and Beverage manual. Mr. Joshi also serves as an Associated editor of the “Journal of Hospitality and Tourism”, Founder of the Ethno-Nepalese cuisine of Far west Nepal called “Dupka”, Executive Director of Kastmandap Cooperative, and Vice President of the Association of Hospitality Educators Nepal.
