Dr. Rabindra Raj Giri received his Ph.D. in 2002 (Biological and Environmental Sciences, Saitama University, Japan, Japanese Government Scholarship); Masters in 1999 (Environmental Engineering, Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand, AIT Scholarship supported by the Government of Japan); and Bachelor in 1992 (Civil Engineering, National Institute of Technology (NIT), Jamshedpur, India, TCS Colombo Plan Scholarship).

He has been actively engaged in cutting-edge researches (particularly in water/wastewater treatment) for the last sixteen years. He has published about two dozens of peer reviewed journal articles, and presented in about a dozen of international conferences. He is keenly interested in academics & research. His research interests include advanced oxidation technologies (AOTs) & membrane technologies for emerging organic micropollutants in water/wastewater treatments, fates of antiviral drugs in the water environment & their consequences, environmental issues of the developing countries (e.g. Nepal) etc. His detailed CV is available Here.
